Description

The EX plus filter from Tetra ensures crystal clear water and a fish-friendly habitat. The set contains everything you need to start using the filter immediately. This includes high-quality Tetra filter media, which are individually matched to the filter depending on the filter size and number of chambers.
The powerful and energy-efficient external filter has a suction aid to enable a quick start. Built-in valves ensure a regulated water flow, so the flow rate can be adjusted to the residents. In order to reduce the maintenance effort, a pre-filter is installed which catches the coarsest dirt before it can even enter the filter chambers. The four different filters can easily clean aquariums ranging in size from 100 litres to large 600-litre tanks.

This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or instructed on the safe use of the device and understand the resulting dangers.
Children must not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
Before connecting the device to the power supply, ensure that the housing and connection cable are intact. No modifications must be made.
Only connect the device to a professionally installed power outlet. The outlet must be easily accessible to quickly disconnect the device from the mains in case of an emergency.
Immediately disconnect the power plug from the mains if the housing or connection cable is damaged.

General notes:

The pump will be damaged if it runs dry, i.e., without water.
Do not bend or crush the connection cable.
Only use original spare parts and accessories.

Handling notes:

Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk of suffocation.
Arrange the connection cable so that no one can trip over it.
Unplug the device from the mains before carrying out any work on it to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Perform a visual inspection of the filter during all maintenance work. Remove deposits and dirt. Replace defective components with original spare parts.
