Description

Tetra pH/KH Minus lowers the carbonate hardness (KH) safely and reliably. As a result, the pH value also decreases automatically. This allows for easy and safe adjustment of the water condition and the needs of special softwater fish can be taken into account. Many freshwater ornamental fish feel comfortable in water with a carbonate hardness (KH) of 4° dH and a pH value below 7,5.

Application

To lower the pH-value and the carbonate hardness, a dosage of maximum 25 ml per 100 l aquarium water is recommended. The process should be repeated every 2 to 3 days until the desired KH is reached. This treatment method will lower the carbonate hardness by approx. 2° dH each time. During the treatment it is recommended to aerate the water and any CO₂ supply should be stopped. Regular control of the pH water test ensures that the carbonate hardness does not drop below 2 to 4° dH, otherwise a dangerous drop in pH can occur.
Long-term regulation of KH and pH: Dose 5 ml per 100 l aquarium water every 2 to 3 days. This lowers the KH by approx. 0,4° dH per application. This regular treatment results in a gradual and permanent lowering of the KH.
