Description

The daytime backlight for Juwel aquariums is a modern and high-quality LED backlight for retrofitting to Juwel complete aquariums. Backlighting gives the plants, the layout and the inhabitants in the aquarium a very three-dimensional appearance, as shadows are almost completely eliminated by the diffuse, large-area light. The enhanced optical three-dimensionality makes fine details more visible and colours of aquatic plants and aquarium inhabitants appear more vibrant. Aquarium plants benefit particularly from the additional light source and respond to the supplementary light with splendid colours and growth. These daytime backlights are specially designed for Juwel aquariums and are suitable for the Lido, Rio and Vision series.

The installation on the aquarium is realised with the polycarbonate retaining clips included in the scope of delivery. The frame of the panel has a circumferential aluminium rib, which makes installation very easy. The clips are inserted on the right and left between the glass and the gravel screen of the aquarium, the backlight Panel is then placed on the clips and snapped into place. The spring tension of the clips keeps the daytime backlight in position.

As an alternative to the blue to white gradient plate included in the scope of delivery, the daytime backlight Panel Opal White can be used.

Daytime LED aquarium lighting - made in Germany - is one of the most efficient LED lighting manufacturers in the aquarium industry. The illumination systems daytime matrix, daytime onex, daytime pendix and daytime eco offer most flexible and individual solutions for brilliant aquarium illumination. The daytime lights are equipped with leading quality LEDs from SSC (SEOUL SEMI CONDUCTERS) with an efficiency of up to 230 lumens per watt and an outstanding colour rendering index (CRI) of up to 90. All daytime luminaries are water- and dust resistant with IP 67, DIN EN 60529 certificate. The lifespan lies at around 60.000 hours. All daytime lights are anodized and resistant against seawater with DIN81249-1 certificate.
