Description
The BioStyle in darkblue colour by Oase is a modern backpack filter, which is available in three different sizes for aquariums up to 180 l. It does not only catch the eye with its modern and sturdy design but proves itself with many useful features.
Via the filter inlet, which is vertically individualisable, the aquarium water flows towards the filter with a stepplessly adjustable flow rate. The filter is simply attached tot the aquarium wall as a hang-on and secured with variable distance-holders. In the filter chamber, the aquarium water is cleansed through biological as well as mechanical and chemical filtration methods. Biological filterfoam with the strength of 30ppi intercepts coarse dirt particles and, additionally, provides useful nitrifying bacteria with a broad surface for colonisation. Filterfleece cleanses from suspended solids and the carbon cartridge binds chloride and other unwanted chemical substances. This is escpecially useful during the starting phase of an aquarium.
In addition to the holistic filtering process and the varying flow rate from soft to very strong - which also benefits the gas exchange on the water surface - the BioStyle hang-on filter opperates very silently, so nothing disturbs the experience of creating a wonderful underwater scape. A very special bonus, the filter comes with, is its automatic maintanance indicator which alerts when there is the necessity of a cartridge exchange.
The BioStyle hang-on filter is also available in grey colour.
