AZOO Skim 250

Was considering either this or the Eheim skimmer. Landed on this one as wanted white due to white background that I have.

Must say that this is one of most nosiest annoying filters that I have ever bought. Plastic is hard and fragile. Skimmer rattles like a plastic toy due to that it is fixed from spinning in plastic tracks. And as filter itself creates super strong vibration the whole thing rattles! I can hear it from a next room standing next to my big aquarium where I use external filter. This little filter makes 5 times more noise than big external filter!

I even managed to break one of flimsy plastic feet that fixates plastic plate in between sponge and rotor when I tried to clean it.

The floating skimmer also has overengineered construction which makes cleaning super difficult. It is easier to clean glass lilly pipes than this skimmer!

Terrible quality.

Do not get it.

Will try to return it.
