Aquasabi Filter Guard Fine mesh

This product looks like the ones you can buy in shops selling all products with 1€: very cheap. The black plastic will stick on your filter hose every time you try to disconnect it (when you want to clean it). It does the job though. I would only recommend it for small tanks (if you have the space, place a sponge, will do the same job with 1/10 of the price) with not so powerful filters. It will cut power from a strong filter. It could have bigger diameter in order to prevent power loss from the filter.

I got the L version so as to minimize the power effect to my filter.

Good quality ,safe for my shrimps.very easy to mount on the filter input. It needs to be cleaned every few weeks.

very fine guard excellent to protect baby shrimps, must take care to clean and check frequently since due to its fine mesh (as supposed to be :-) ) may clog

This product look really cheap, like chinese e-commerce shops, It Is made with two thermo formed pastics and a stainless web. For this price It male you feel a bit cheated

After using it for a long time make their job. Only complain the plastic parts get separate with the time from the metallic mesh, but can be easy repair with some drops of superglue (fur sure every aquascaper have it) :P
