Blyxa japonica

The gel substrate had almost completely liquified upon arrival, but the plants themselves were in excellent health. It contained three fairly large and heavily rooted stems (one of which had a few smaller stems attached that were too small to untangle).

Theyve been in the tank for three weeks as of writing and the plants have doubled in size. Melting is extremely minimal and theyre slowly developing a very subtle tiger stripe pattern.
