Jacaranda brasiliana pod

A perfect and completely natural decoration for the Amazon Aquarium biotope as well as a hide out for small animals!

These pods look very natural in an Amazon biotope and on top of that they will provide some kind of hide out for smaller animals too.

I do not know if mine was used, it did not come open like the one in the picture. I left it on a backet of water for one week changing the water daily and it smelled like hell (did not closed 1 cm, that is why I think it was used). I am still waiting for it to stop smelling like s…. before I enter this in my shrimp aquarium.

Bought this.. thing and put it in a non-cycled blackwater aquarium. It behaves the same as wood, so it floats at first and it gets a white film. It slowly closed up and now I cant get it open lol. I hope it will eventually open up again, but even if it does not I would still recommend because it looks very natural.
