In my case a 3cm long rhizom and another 1 cm long one. The 12 to 15 medium to very small leaves (the 2 biggest were 10 cm long and were damaged; the rest vary from 5-7 cm to 2-3 cm) were not firm, their color was sad and most of them suffer from holes, brown spots, broken tips and already melting parts. I had to cut a few of them directly out of the bag.
Also I do not see anywhere the orange/brown tips, neither on the young/small leaves (but as said before, the complete plant looks like more brownish than green). Because of the poor condition, I've decided not to include it directly into my layout. It has been attached to a stone and placed in a corner of the aquarium with medium light, soft current and low concurrence. Let see what happens now, but I'm definitively disappointed by the quantity and quality received for the price paid.
Aquasabi shipping service was fast and efficient as ususally. Nothing to complain about this.
EDIT AFTER HAVING CONTACTED AQUASABI: I must admit that i probably overreacted yesterday when discovering the slightly damaged tiny bunchs of this Java fern.
After having discussed with the Aquasabi team and having both exposed our views, they admitted some points and rejected some others BUT proved to have an excellent quality customer service by proposing a very satifsfying and appreciated solution. This is finally more important than the size of a few euros plant.
The plant is now in standby in a recovery zone of my aquarium. If it grows well and finally looks like the advertised one, I will for sure come back and complete this review.
