It raises GH exactly as the using guide says.

I am not entirely happy with solubility though, in order to achieve 100%, i assume you need to mature RO/DI water to a food grade plastic container for a couple of days using a small pump for circulation.

There are no directions of how to use it, and trying to dissolve it in a seperate bottle of tank water wont entirely dissolve it within 20mins + stirring, which is what i did. Therefore, i would not just throw it in the tank either.

The price though is excelent. 110g will be enough for months for aquariums up to 100L. I would reccomend it, unless you dont want to mature water in reparate containers, in which case maybe liquid GH boosters will be better.
