Description
The ADA Pollen Glass Beetle is a specially developed CO2 diffuser for larger aquariums from 90 cm in length. With its wide diffusion filter, it ensures an even distribution of CO2 to meet the requirements of aquatic plants in large tanks. A CO2 value of 20 to 30 mg/l is optimal for most aquatic plants.
The unique, compact design enables space-saving positioning in a corner of the aquarium. Incidentally, the name ‘Pollen Glass Beetle’ is derived from its appearance. The two suction cups are reminiscent of eyes, while the glass tube between them looks like a horn - almost like a small beetle.
Three versions are available depending on the tank size: 30 mm for 90 cm, 40 mm for 90-120 cm and 50 mm for 120-180 cm. For particularly large aquariums, it may make sense to use several diffusers.

Application
We recommend to use soft silicone tubing to connect the glassware in order to reduce the risk of glass breakage. The piece of hose used should be kept as short as possible in order to avoid unnecessary CO2 losses.
Silicone hose is not pressure resistant and therefore can not be used for connection to the pressure regulator.

Cleaning
If algae starts to grow on the glassware, it is time to clean it. Cleaning is not difficult, but should be carried out carefully. The glassware will then shine like new again.
- You need a standard household chlorine cleaner (hygiene cleaner) without fragrances. When working with chlorine bleach, always observe the manufacturer's precautionary measures.
- Pour some of the chlorine cleaner into a container and mix with 50% water. There should be enough of the solution so that the glassware can be completely immersed in it
- Leave the glassware to soak in the solution for 1 - 4 hours (depending on how dirty it is)
- Remove the glassware and rinse thoroughly
- All dirt should now be removed and the glassware should shine in new splendour again
