Description
'Deep Purple' is a rare Bucephalandra form that was found in the Kapuas region in the Indonesian part of Borneo. Its species belonging is still unknown. Our plant is propagated in nurseries and is not collected in the nature for the trade.
This attractive Bucephalandra gets relatively large and features elongate-elliptic, short-stalked, horizontal leaves with slightly rippled margin. Under water it develops magnificent purple tones.
As well as other Bucephalandras, 'Deep Purple' is a slowly growing epiphyte for the hardscape. It looks best with medium lighting, good water flow and constant nutrient and CO2 supply.

Small but very good quality and a lot of them. Good roots and leaves, that makes them easy too attatch.
Came as multiple very small rhizomes which melted to nothing but mush, not just buce melt totally died even under high co2 and hi-light. Very disappointing purchase.
Bought it cause love that plant and overall all bucephalandras but unfortunately it started to melt... hope it will regenerate and show its beauty soon.
