Description
JBL - Manado - DARK activates the soil flora and is therefore an ideal substrate for plant care. JBL - Manado - DARK can be used as a sole substrate but also as a supplement, e.g. to JBL ProFlora AquaBasis. The substrate is excellently suited for burrowing fish, has a high iron buffer and, with its coarse surface structure, provides an excellent basis for colonisation by useful bacterial cultures as well as sufficient support for ground coverers. The nutrient buffer of the substrate can be recharged by surface fertilisation.

Application
Before use, rinse briefly with lukewarm tap water and then use as a supplementary substrate as a top layer for JBL - ProFlora Aquabasis or as a sole substrate.

This is my most-used soil. Basicly it fits with everything. Even last aquarium move (took all out and all in in new location) did not do anything bad for aquarium bacteria balance. (read more)
