The bioPlus coarse filter sponge from Juwel serves as the basis in every Juwel filter system.
With its coarse pore structure, it is ideally suited for mechanical and biological filtration of the aquarium.

Works just like it should. If you hadnt changed this sponge for a while - you may have noticed noticed a build up of algae. This soon subsided once the sponge was replaced.
